Our take
This dumbbell comes with star-lock collars, which is a nice bonus—they secure the plates tightly. The chrome finish looks good and resists rust. The hex shape prevents rolling. However, the handle is a bit thin for my liking, and the overall build feels adequate but not premium. At 35 pounds, it's fine for curls and presses. The included collars are a plus, but they add a little weight. For the price, it's a decent buy, especially if you need the collars.
